The rotary drum microfilter is a rotary drum type screen filter. The treated wastewater enters the drum along the axial direction and flows out through the screen in a radial shape. The impurities in the water are trapped on the inner surface of the filter on the drum. When the impurities trapped on the filter are brought to the upper part by the rotary drum, they are backwashed by the pressure washing water to the slag discharge tank and flow out.
Technical principle of rotary drum microfilter
The operation of rotary drum microfilter consists of three processes: sewage inflow, filter filtration and sludge discharge, and filtered water discharge or enter the next treatment link. The sewage is pumped into the space formed between the two filter discs. After the sewage is filtered through the filter disc, the solid particles in the sewage are left on the filter. The solid particles attached to the filter roll on the surface of the filter and gradually form large agglomerates. The rolling action of the agglomerates adheres the particles on the surface of the filter to the agglomerates. When the agglomerates reach a certain size, they fall off the filter, thereby cleaning the filter. When the agglomerates between the two filter discs accumulate to a certain amount, the machine automatically discharges solid dirt due to the rotation of the filter disc.
